Finally sprouts

Almost all the stuff I've sown has started to come up. Woo hoo! Now if they'll just live long enough to plant out. (bigger woo hoo to come).

These are two of my antique roses. Two of the classics in fact. The solid one is Rosa gallica 'Officinalis', aka the Apothecary Rose, and the other is R. gallica 'Versicolor', aka Rosa Mundi. They're once bloomers so people who insist that their roses rebloom don't pay any attention.

It's too filthy outside to post much. Springtime in Illinois is arriving with its usual mud and cold. Come on sunshine!
